LSS sa was established in 2001 in Luxemburg as a joint venture company by our daughter company Sobelnord, Antwerp and L&S, Oslo , employing on the services of a number of Agents in major maritime centres : Oslo, Shanghai, Geneva, Singapore and Antwerp.

Combining the shipbroking knowledge and resources of a global team of dry bulk broking specialists and benefiting from the commodity boom between 2002 and 2008 LSS became one of the leading brokers worldwide in the Cape market.

LSS succeeded  over the years in arranging considerable spot business and Contracts of Affreightment between  large international Shipowners, major Mining Companies and the Chinese Steel industry.

In 2015 the Agency Agreement for new commercial business with the Agents was discontinued and to date LSS still acts as executioner of the existing contracts.
